Our Team.

All of our Chiropodists are highly trained having undergone at least 7 years of education. They have each received a graduate diploma from the Michener Institute for Applied Health Science in Ontario. In this time, they also learned and practiced extensive clinical knowledge which has translated into a career of helping thousands of patients locally and around Ontario. Krista Harris

B.Sc.(Hons), D.Ch

Registered Chiropodist

  • Krista Harris D.Ch. completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario in Kinesiology.

  • Holds an Advanced Graduate Diploma of Health Sciences and Chiropody at the Michener Institute

  • Developed an interest in healthcare and biomechanics while competing in varsity Rugby at the University of Western Ontario

  • Registered with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario

  • Qualified to preform Local Anesthesia and Soft Tissue Surgery

  • Completion of The Wound Care Certificate: Update for Chiropodists

Sarah Martens
Kurtis Borland

B.Sc.(Hons), D.Ch

Registered Chiropodist

  • Obtained his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the Wilfrid Laurier University

  • Attended the Michener Institute of Education at UHN to specialize in podiatric medicine and ultimately become a Chiropodist.

  • Previously worked at the Michener Chiropody Clinic, Kitchener Downtown Community Health Centre and the Waterloo Foot Clinic

  • Registered with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario

  • Qualified to preform Local Anesthesia and Soft Tissue Surgery

  • Completion of The Wound Care Certificate: Update for Chiropodists

Caitlin Taylor (Weir)

B.Sc. (Hons), D.Ch

  • Holds an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Biology from York University

  • Graduate Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences (Chiropody) from the Michener Institute

  • Registered with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario

  • Qualified to preform Local Anesthesia and Soft Tissue Surgery

  • Former 3rd year mentor to 1st and 2nd year Chiropody students

Annamaria Otto

M.Sc, D.Ch

Registered Chiropodist

  • Holds a Master of Science with a focus in Occupational Biomechanics and Ergonomics from McGill University 

  • Holds a Bachelor of Science specializing in Kinesiology from Queens University 

  • Holds an Graduate Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences (Chiropody) from the Michener Institute

  • Registered with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario 

  • Qualified to perform Local Anesthesia and Soft Tissue Surgery

  • Trained in Foot Mobilization Therapy (FMT)

  • Former tutor and student mentor to 1st and 2nd year Chiropody students
